Rainy Wedding at Nestldown
I had the fortune of working with Stella Yang and Manna Sun again, and this wedding is going to knock your socks off! So many pretty little details in the prettiest shades of coral and peach.
One of the things I liked most about this wedding - the bride and groom had full trust in our ability to execute their wedding. Manna provided us with a color palette, and we just ran with it. I love when couples trust their vendors - it allows us so much creative freedom. I know this can be scary sometimes, as couples want to be in control of all the details - but trust us! When you trust your vendors and empower them to be your advocates, some amazing things happen. Like this beautiful wedding. Scroll down for more!
Rather than see this as a challenge, the vendor team saw this as a beautiful opportunity, and we (along with the couple) embraced it. Gloomy days make for the most beautiful diffused lighting, and Stella captured it so nicely. The bright sherbet colored wedding was pulled off using coral charm peonies, garden roses, butterfly ranunculus, regular ranunculus, some pieris for texture, and fun poppies for whimsy. These were intentionally placed in a lush, green backdrop of varying types of eucalyptus for maximum depth and dimension.
The indoor reception area was rustic and heavily wood-toned, but the bright and sunny palette helped balance out the room. We continued the lush, sherbet-toned florals, with lots of greenery and texture. I loved that the couple opted for a more jewel-toned and richer color palette inside, with emerald green napkins and gold accents. We created these long, lush floral runners along the dining tables - just low enough that guests could mingle and talk over them, but still so visually impactful and pretty with the colors and greenery.
We really enjoyed this rainy day wedding at Nestldown, hope you did too! If you liked this look and want us to create magic for you, please donβt be shy and reach out to us to get started!
