Nikki + Mike - Legion of Honor
This next wedding, like its venue, is a total work of art, and was featured on StyleMePretty. Flanked by Rodin statues, Nikki and Mike were married at the Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco. Expertly captured by renowned photographer Jen Huan and planned by the lovely Cali of SmittenKiss, this is one for the books. Scroll down to see for yourself.
Nikki and Mike chose a neutral cream/blush/peach palette with pops of dusty blue in their linen and glassware choices. There is also just a bit of gold accent for contrast, but it is so subtle and so chic, wouldn’t you say? For the florals, we went with really romantic materials like butterfly ranunculus, roses, and ruffly lisianthus. Abelia, QA lace, honeysuckle, and pieris were included for texture, dimension and movement in the floral pieces. We really enjoyed creating the intimate ceremony space, with florals encircling the couple. It helped soften the otherwise stark white museum space, and add whimsy and romance.
