I find that working as a florist can sometimes be lonely, stressful, and highly pressurized, especially as I’m responsible for creating the perfect day for my clients, while also managing flawless execution and a large team. For our big events, I need consistently reliable help and extra hands, which can be difficult to find. I’m sure many of you feel the same way!
As such, for you florists who have big weddings and need extra hands or extra work space, we can help! We at Vo Floral are now offering some new services that can support you every step of the way:
1. Workspace Rental. Our workspace at Vo Floral Farm in Castro Valley is available for rent. The space comes with a large walk-in cooler, additional standalone flower fridges, large work tables, easy access to flower buckets and water, and all the tools you may need. This is especially perfect for any florists who are from out of town with weddings in the Bay Area or who may need extra workspace, storage and cooler space for a large event. The space is also conveniently located near the I-580, I-680, and I-880, making access to Bay Area venues very easy.
2. Fully Outsourced Floral Production. Are you double booked for a weekend or just want to focus on the client while your trusted team handles execution? We are happy to tackle the end-to-end floral production for your event, from processing the flowers to design, based on your events needs. Just let us know the ingredients you need, the quantity of bouquets and centerpieces, etc. We’ll have everything for you to pick-up and deliver to your clients.
3. Day-of-Event Freelancers. On the day of the event, there is always lots to do, like delivery, setup and breakdown. We are offering our freelance services to help with day-of setup and breakdown, including moving, heavy lifting, custom installations of any structures, and of course - breakdown and cleanup. As your freelancers, we are here to ensure your event goes smoothly without a hitch.
4. Strike Team Only- An event day can be long and go into the night, and at the end of the day, cleanup can be a chore. We offer our strike services to breakdown and cleanup your event, removing florals and retrieving any materials (vases, arches, structures, etc.) that you need. We have worked at most of the venues in the Bay Area and are familiar with their cleanup rules, ensuring compliance and maintaining positive vendor relations.
By using any of the above services, you get access to a number of perks and benefits and/or additional services:
Transportation/Delivery: When you work at our Castro Valley studio, we can help you pack and transport the flowers and supplies to the venue and you can meet us at the venue for set up. We have a large delivery van that can accommodate events of any size.
Inventory: We have a large inventory of vessels, vases, floral stands, candle holders, and different arches for rental for your event. Just let us know what you have in mind and we can check our stock for your design needs.
Custom Work: If we don’t have what you need, we welcome opportunities to design custom arches and structures with you. Just let us know what you have in mind and we can work together to create the structure for your event.
Special Perks: When working on-site at our workspace, you will have to worry about flower shortages. You can always find something at our flower farm that can work for your event, depending on the season. We grow dozens of varieties of garden roses as well as seasonal ranunculus, poppies, anemones, dahlias, tulips, and lots of unique flowers for your design work. These flowers are straight from the farm and very fresh ensuring your arrangements and bouquets will be beautiful and special for your event day.
