Pantone Color of the Year 2017
I am so excited that this year's Pantone Color of the Year is Greenery, a refreshing and revitalizing shade, symbolic of new beginnings. I love adding greenery to florals. It instantly creates texture and adds dimension and depth to any design. I was inspired to create a look almost entirely of greenery to show you how beautiful, versatile, and lush leaves and branches can be.
Some of my favorite greenery include different varieties of fern, eucalyptus, and boxwood. Nigella also adds great texture, as does different types of grasses and grains and vines.
Greenery isn't just for outdoor weddings either. Elegant branches and dainty leaves are right at home in a grand ballroom, homey barn, or English garden. I encourage all my clients to incorporate greenery into their wedding florals. When done well, it will add an understated elegance and beauty that is sure to impress.
Just as the color Greenery evokes revival, renewal, and restoration - may your new year be a new beginning full of life and vitality and good health. Cheers!
