Gilded Julia Morgan Ballroom Editorial

I was invited by Ashley over at Eighteenth Avenue to collaborate on a photoshoot at the gorgeous Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. Given the elaborate architecture and gilded-age detailing of the building, we wanted to design a look that was worthy of the space.

Soft champagne and ivory and gold were prominently featured. And to really showcase our work, we decided to create a floating floral piece for the king's table - not only is it gravity-defying and unique, we think this trend is having its big moment.

The floating floral piece along with the table pieces featured lots of different textures and shades of ivory, gold and champagne to create a classic and elegant look. We love the frilly rananculus and sweet garden roses, and lots of ruffly hydrangea. We even tucked in gold leaves to reinforce that gilded-age theme throughout the centerpiece.

You can read more about this photoshoot and see the delicious details over at Eighteenth Avenue.
