Historic Firehouse Wedding

Firehouse 8 is a beautifully restored historic firehouse in Russian Hill. Its exposed brick, high ceilings, and bright skylights reminded me of many brownstones in Brooklyn - full of character and charm. It was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding.

This particular bride chose a fun blush and blue color scheme, which at first I was afraid would be too juvenile. But this bride had such a great sense of style and chose complementing linens and dinnerware, and it turned out great.

I have always adored long banquet tables, which serve as an ideal canvas for lots of florals. Our centerpieces for these long tables featured a variety of roses and dahlias, and had lots of whispy greenery for texture and dimension. In addition, we loved adding the gorgeous fern+floral detail on each place setting. These little details go a long way, and are such a treat for guests.

I'm so impressed by this color scheme and my bride's chic taste - I'm confident that this color combination is going to be a classic in the future.
