Hong + Nathan - Half Moon Bay

Perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Pacific, the Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton and adjacent Half Moon Bay Golf Links make for a stunning venue. There has been so much written about them, but nothing does them justice. You just need to see for yourself.

This gorgeous peachy wedding, held at the HMB Golf Links, celebrated the love of Hong and Nathan. These lovebirds met in college in Riverside, then dated and were long distance for 14 years, as both were busy pursuing ambitious careers on opposite coasts. When the time came and despite being super busy, Nathan flew to the east coast to visit Hong, stepped half a foot through her door and immediately took a knee and proposed. The next morning he flew back for work. This low key and super sweet proposal shows that love can transcend geography and time zones and grueling careers and busy schedules and fatigue from travel. Love transcends all.

During our consultation, Hong specified that she wanted twinkling lights and a venue that overlooked the ocean and sophisticated and beautiful flowers. I think we achieved her vision and relied on a pretty palette of café au lait dahlias, roses, tulips, hydrangeas, and sprays of white orchids. The bridal bouquet featured similar flowers with a touch of dusty miller.

Nathan and Hong had a lovely wedding and an amazing time with their families and friends. And Hong got exactly what she wanted - a twinkling venue overlooking the ocean, and gorgeous florals. A beautiful celebration of a transcendent love. Hope you enjoyed.
